Lucca 2009

Many travel companies are now pricing in in Euros because of the volatility of the Dollar/Euro exchange rate. Papillon select Tours Ltd has endeavored to find the fairest method of payment bearing in mind:

that many of you do not like paying by bank transfers, preferring to pay by US dollar cheque;
that we do not want to overly increase our prices to cover a 'potential' drop in the dollar rate;
that many initial bookings are made 2 years in advance leaving a large time for currency movements.

We have thus decided to set prices in Euros (as all our expenditures are in Euros). We will, however, continue to accept payments in US Dollars as follows:

90 days before arrival date we will calculate the total price in US Dollars using the exchange rate of that day. We will then deduct the deposits already paid and ask for the remaining balance in US Dollars

This payment method offers you the chance to buy Euros 'ahead' if you feel it to be more secure or advantageous.

Party of 10 Euro 2,550 per person

THESE PRICES INCLUDE 6 dinners (4 at the villa, 2 at selected locations), 2 lunches (see sample menus) and 6 breakfasts at the house. A cocktail bar, all the fine estate-bottled wines from the region. Maid service, excursions, entrance fees on accompanied visits and the use of the swimming pool are also included. There are nearby tennis courts.

THESE PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE 3 lunches to be taken on own (giving more flexibility on excursions), trip cancellation and travel insurance, use of telephone and staff gratuities. Extra activities such as golf and horse back riding are also not included in the price.
