The Villa Bencontenta is ideally located not only for its its beautiful situation but also for visiting the great sites of the Veneto.  

During our week we will see Vicenza, a UNESCO protected architectural site and cradle of Palladio; Padova, home to Europe's second oldest university, second largest Piazza and Giotto's world renowned cycle of frescos in the Scrovegni Chapel; Verona, surely one of Italy's most beautiful cities with its unbelievable amphitheatre, venue for a season of opera; and Venice which is quite simply unique!  We will also visit the charming Euganean Hills, a mixture of wooded volcanic peaks and vineyards, and explore our own historic estate.
