SUNDAY
Dennis & Jamie will personally meet your party at the pre-arranged
arrival point, and drive you to the Villa in our comfortable
minibuses. A Champagne welcome with freshly baked appetizers awaits
you in the beautiful grounds and in the evening we will serve the
first of Ellie's fantastic dinners.
MONDAY
We head to the Mediterranean and our favourite fishing village of Casis,
great shopping walking a leisurely lunch on the key followed by a boat
trip into the Calanques, the famous Provencal Fjords. Back to Ellie and
another great dinner at the villa
TUESDAY
Our first look at Aix - and on market day when the whole of the centre
is animated and filled with the colours and light that make Provence
so special - stands of cheeses and olives, soaps and lavender, linens
and wine! We return for Ellie's Provencal buffet the very essence of
the region. After a leisurley rest by the pool we head to the pretty
and nearby town of Lourmirin for dinner via the beautiful abbey of
Sivicane.
WEDNESDAY
We drive through the Carmargue to Van Gogh's Arles filled with Gypsy
rhythms and Roman ruins. An interesting tour with Jamie a Provencal
lunch some great shopping and back for a game of Boules before Ellies
dinner.
THURSDAY
We return to Aix for a tour of the sites or perhaps a relaxing visit
to their wonderful spa complex. Then home for another sumptuous
Ellie buffet and relaxing afternoon by the pool before returning to
Aix and one of our favourite dinner restaurants.
FRIDAY
A day in the beautiful Luberon and
the pretty villages of Menerbes, Gordes and Roussillon with perhaps a
terrace lunch in one of those special places. We return for a wine
and olive oil tasting with Dennis in the villa grounds while Ellie
prepares the last nights dinner.
SATURDAY
The end of the week and your party will be driven to
their pre-arranged departure point after a good breakfast.
The above is meant as a guide only. We have the flexibility of 2 minibuses allowing
your party to split if requested There are many other excursion options in this
area.
